We are a life-giving community where people from all walks of life are embraced. It doesn’t matter what ethnic, religious or economic background you are coming from. Together we are hungry for a church where we are accepted and challenged, and Steel Lake Presbyterian Church is such a place.
You are invited to take a journey with us and let us feed you the food of Christ and satisfy your spiritual appetite. We know that God has a purpose for your life and wants to have a relationship with you. It is our desire that people come to place their trust in Christ to forgive them and lead them, and that they grow in their relationship with him. We will help guide you through your path and our leaders will provide heart-expressing worship and teaching from the word of God.
Plug in Faith for a day or a lifetime…
Steel Lake Church has been a successful ministry. After worshipping for almost 70 years from the same campus or building, we find ourselves embarking on a new journey. We have sold the old campus and are now temporarily worshiping and praising God from Calvary Lutheran Church. It is our destination to eventually find a new permanent home of our own, but in the meantime, we are grateful for Calvary Lutheran’s hospitality.
At our Sunday morning service, greeters will welcome you and give you a bulletin that outlines our order of worship. Hearing assist devices and large print Bibles are also available from the greeters. After worship on the first and third Sunday of the month, we have coffee fellowship in the Fellowship Center. We are called to be a missional church. We will witness to Christ’s love and minister with members of the aging community, their families, and caregivers.
We will act in the power of the Holy Spirit and follow where God guides us through the discipline of spiritual discernment.
